- The Minister of Music is the primary worship leader for the weekly Sabbath worship services.
- Member of Worship Planning Team.
- Provide music for weekly Sabbath worship services
- Plan music to compliment/support the themes/series planned by Pastoral team
- Schedule all musical groups/soloists that participate in the worship service (Choirs, Praise Teams, Worship leaders, etc.)
- Prepare Praise Teams to lead out weekly.

- Plan and/or assist with planning creative musical support to special emphasis days on the church calendar.

Roles & Description:
- Audio Engineer
- Volunteers will learn the technical expertise and creativity to contribute to a seamless and spiritually uplifting experience for all church members through audio engineering, in person and on the live stream.
- Audio Engineers mix clear and balanced audio for the 1U Praise Team, church members, sermons, and events.
- Digital Graphics Designer (Flyers / Thumnnails)
- Digital Graphics Designers focus on creating visually appealing digital assets, promotional materials, event flyers, online thumbnails, church branded marketing, and more. They design graphics that align with First University's identity, create awareness, and effectively communicate messages for events, programs, and community outreach.
Visual Graphics Director
- Visual Graphic Directors at First University use Proclaim church production software to control the song lyrics, bible verses, images, and video displayed inside the church building to the congregation.
Video Editor
- Video Editors are responsible for editing and enhancing video content related to worship services, events, announcements, children's programs, and other church needs. They work closely with the 1U Communications Team, and the role of the Video Editor is to convey the First University's spiritual message effectively through well-crafted visual narratives, ensuring a meaningful and engaging experience for the viewers.
Camera Operator
- Camera Operators are in control of what the online audience sees. The goal is to capture the moments live during worship service, in the most visually appealing way possible. Camera Operators collaborate with the live video production team to visually document worship service, the congregation, sermons, and other activities.
Broadcast Director
- Broadcast Directors oversee the live broadcast or recorded production of Sabbath day worship services. The Broadcast Director coordinates the efforts of the Camera Operators, Audio Engineer, Visual Graphics Director, and Stage Manager to ensure a seamless and spiritually enriching experience for the virtual congregation through effective visual and auditory elements.
Website Developer / Designer
- Website Developers / Designers focus on creating and maintaining the First University website, event forms, or other digital forms of communication between church leaders, church members, and the community. They use their technical skills to support the church's mission in the digital world.
App Developer
- App Developers create and maintain the First University mobile app currently under development. The goal of the app is to enhance communication, community engagement, and access to spiritual resources. The goal is to develop an app with a user-friendly interface that caters to the specific needs of the congregation, facilitating a deeper connection with the church community.
Stage Manager (works closely with Worship Hub leaders and Technology)
- Stage Managers play a crucial role in orchestrating the smooth execution of live worship services and special events. They are responsible for coordinating and communicating various elements of the service, and handling unexpected situations to help to contribute to the overall success of the church service or program. Some responsibilities may include managing transitions between different segments of the service or speakers, and ensuring that the technical aspects align seamlessly. The Stage Manager collaborates closely with the Praise Team, Tech Team, Worship Hub, Elders, and whoever else who has a role in the service.
Responsibilities:

- Welcome members and guests to the church in a kind and loving manner.
- Reconnect with and encourage guests on their way out.
- Be the doorkeepers, controlling appropriate entrance times for the sanctuary during divine worship in an orderly fashion. In

- Distribute material related to the service or meeting, such as bulletins, handouts, etc.
- Oversees cadre of ushers and responsible for all administrative tasks associated with maintaining an effective hospitable
